A great deal of misinformation is presently circulating regarding Katimavik’s funding, its operational costs, its number of participants per year, program costs per volunteer, etc. Therefore, the organization would like to share some of the most important facts and figures regarding its programs and funding/finances. There is still time to reverse the government’s decision. In the weeks and days to come, we hope we can count on Katimavik’s many supporters to speak with their elected officials about their experiences and articulate the value and benefits of a strong Katimavik for Canada. Now is the time for all our stakeholders and supporters to be proud and be heard. Here are a few examples of initiatives that some of them have undertaken:
